LASER TREATMENT FOR ACNE & ACNE SCARS

The CoolBreeze® laser effectively targets the bacterial source of acne vulgaris. The laser energy shrinks the oil glands responsible for acne and boosts collagen which improves the appearance of your pores and acne scars. The FDA-approved CoolBreeze® acne and acne scarring treatment is non-invasive and safe for almost any part of the body.

Treatments times and the number of treatments needed for acne and acne scars vary depending on what is being treated and the severity of your acne and/ or acne scars. Typically, acne and acne scar patients require 3 – 6 treatments a month apart. Downtime is minimal compared to many other laser treatment options. Your skin may experience some mild redness, but this should resolve shortly following treatment.* Follow-up visits post treatment may be required to maintain your skin recovery goals.

LASER TREATMENT FOR WRINKLES

The CoolBreeze® laser is a non-ablative laser. This means that it works by heating up the underlying skin’s tissue without causing damage to the surface tissue. This causes your skin cells to produce new collagen which allows your body to heal itself. When treated skin is targeted, this collagen stimulation causes your skin to soften and will fill in wrinkles and improve the skin’s firmness and elasticity as collagen is built over time.

The FDA-approved CoolBreeze® wrinkle treatment is best suited for treating wrinkles on your face and neck. Minor wrinkles may see improvement in as few as 2 treatments, though the average is somewhere between 3 – 5 treatments.* The deeper your wrinkles the more treatments you will require. An added benefit is that your overall skin tone and texture in the treated areas should also improve.

As with the CoolBreeze® acne treatments, your skin may experience some mild redness which should resolve shortly following treatment.* You should be able to apply makeup directly following your CoolBreeze® appointment.

LASER TREATMENT FOR TOENAIL FUNGUS

The CoolBreeze® laser is also effective, though not yet FDA-approved, for the treatment of most toenail fungus. Using an infrared light, the CoolBreeze® laser kills the fungus living in and under the infected toenail without causing damage to the nail or surrounding skin.
A minimum of 5 CoolBreeze® laser treatments are typically required to treat toenail fungus though signs of improvement require patience and time as the new, clear toenails grow out. Of course, you will also need to take precautions to prevent reinfection.
