WHAT IS LASER GENESIS?
Laser Genesis is a versatile nonablative vascular laser that delivers targeted laser energy to the middle layer of your skin in micro-pulses that cause the dermis to change without damaging or wounding the top layer of skin. Skin tone is restored through this heat base to enhance collagen synthesis which provides a youthful-looking skin tone and texture.
WHAT DOES LASER GENESIS TREAT?
Laser Genesis laser treatment may be recommended by Dr. Weeks and his aestheticians for the following skin concerns:
- ✔ Acne may be improved by minimizing bacteria and pore size while also reducing the red, inflamed appearance of the skin often associated with acne.
✔ Acne Scarring may be improved by collagen synthesis which promotes the growth of healthy skin in areas of scarring.
✔ Broken Capillaries/Redness may be reduced by targeting areas of flushed skin with additional heat and safely reducing the signs of redness via natural coagulation.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL BE NEEDED?
Laser Genesis (non-ablative) Skin Revitalization is a gentle, non-invasive laser treatment and the results are subtle when compared to invasive (ablative) laser skin resurfacing where the results are more dramatic but come at the cost of significant downtime and discomfort. Because the top layer of skin is not being removed by the Laser Genesis Skin Revitalization treatment as it is during ablative laser resurfacing, several separate treatments are generally needed to see significant results. The upside is that there is minimal downtime with some mild redness associated with Laser Genesis treatments.*
Generally, our aestheticians recommend 4 – 6 weekly treatments for optimal results, plus follow-up maintenance treatments may also be advised. HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
Laser Genesis Skin Revitalization results vary depending on the skin issue and area being treated. The effects of the treatment gradually show over time and typically last between 6 – 12 months, depending on your skin type and the issue being treated. Growth factors and product enhancement may be added on to receive more stellar results.
