Microdermabrasion (Vibraderm)

Microdermabrasion, also known as Vibraderm is a popular, gently exfoliating treatment that stimulates collagen growth, and is excellent for treating skin that has been subjected to a dryer climate. One of the most effective and minimally invasive skin resurfacing procedures available, Vibraderm can be used all over the body to give a rejuvenated appearance to face, arms, hands and decollete.

The microdermabrasion treatment uses patented paddles that vibrate the surface and reduce layers of damaged skin, stimulate the underlying tissue and infuse customized topicals. Vibraderm improves skin tone and texture, reduces fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, appearance of pore size, dryness, oiliness, and dullness.

Skin resurfacing procedures are a minimally invasive method of rejuvenating skin without undergoing surgery, chemical peels, or injections. In Texas, microdermabrasion is a popular  method of regaining youthful, healthy-looking skin due to the dryer climate which can cause skin problems for a large population. Microdermabrasion can be scheduled as a one-off treatment, or as a series of shorter treatments for an on-going skincare regimen. While powerful, this gentle treatment can be beneficial for patients with all skin types, and may provide instant results with limited redness and skin sensitivity. For clients who have had sensitivities during skin resurfacing procedures in the past, Vibraderm is a comfortable alternative to achieving radiant, rejuvenated skin.

Skin Care Programs

Permanent improvement of the skin and achieving a clear healthy complexion requires consistency. Your skin cells need to be activated daily to build collagen and suppress skin problems.

Obagi Skin Care

The Obagi system combines specially developed products with medical supervision and counseling to treat your skin from the inside out. The program works on the surface to smooth roughness and correct damage like uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. It also penetrates below the surface to stimulate cell renewal, improve circulation and help restore your skin’s natural moisture. The results? Beautiful, healthy skin.

Chemical Peel

As people age, the sun, conditions, and gravity take a toll on skin, causing it to sag and wrinkle. One tool used to combat the aging process is the chemical peel procedure. A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation. Phenol, trichloracetic acid (TCA) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) are used for this purpose. However, the precise formula of the chemical peel procedure may be adjusted to meet each patient’s needs. Although a chemical peel may be performed in conjunction with a facelift, it is not a substitute for such surgery, nor will it prevent or slow the aging process.
